Revised in 2011. Now includes combat and fatigue uniform grade insignia. A detailed exmination, in color plates, of the insignia of grade worn by officers, enlisted personnel, military academy, ROTC and JROTC cadets since the creation of the United States Army in 1776. Included are the branch insignia of the army with their colors and explanations. Also included are the grade insignia of the Confederate States Army from 1861 to 1865 and the Republic of Texas Army from 1836 to 1845.
